Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett looked absolutely stunning in this Armani Prive creation, earlier this week. The star wore this number at the L.A premiere of Iron Man 2, where her costar Gwyenth Paltrow was also dressed in Armani. Although Scarlett's dress is very similar to the ones Jennifer Lopez and Kate Hudson wore, I love it on her. The cocktail dress length of it adds to its elegance and she looks absolutely radiant.

Alexander McQueen soles
These are not shoes they are seriously works of art. These are the shoes from McQueen's fall 2010 collection. They are inspired by the art of the dark ages, McQueen manages to find some soft aspects in the darkness. It is this play on finding joy in the darkness of the art that makes these truly a work of art by a true artist.
What do you think?

Zara May lookbook
Another month, another Zara look book. The brand is steering towards the clean, crisp, fresh trend that was present in the SS fashion week shows of Celine, Chloe, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan to name a few. The brand has done wisely to follow the lead of these designers, as this trend seems to be catching on quick. I love the fact that Zara is playing with neutral tones this spring, in contrast to their heavily floral themed collection last spring.
The looks all seem effortless and chic, I especially love the cute romper!

If life was a Disney movie
If everything ended in happy ever after, if the prince always saved the princess, if people sang all the time and if designers were disney characters. That sounds like a world I wouldn't mind living in! Posted above are the amazing sketches of fashion designers if they were Disney characters, in this months Elle Espana. They certainly got all of them spot on I think!!

SJP cover
Here is a first look at Sarah Jessica Parker's May Vogue cover. I don't really know how I feel about it. The head tilt is kind of awkward and I am not too sure about that color on her. What do you think of the cover?

All American Girl
All American girl, Karlie Kloss has translated her nature into an editorial fashion shoot for Vogue UK. I am loving this spread by Alasdair McLellan, the everything USA theme is super cute. They couldn't have picked a model more fitting for this shoot.
Karlie is sporting garments by Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Chloe and others. The theme revolves around common American pass times; playing baseball, getting a milkshake, and dallying in public school halls.

6126 Sneak peek
Better than I expected to say the least! After the catastrophe at Ungaro, I expected a train wreck, but I must say the designs aren't bad at all. Above are some pictures of a few of the garments, modeled by Lindsay and her sister Ali. As I have blogged before, Lindsay is expanding her 6126 line to include 280 pieces ranging from $60-$100.
The inspiration for this line, "the iconic Marilyn Monroe and the timeless, confident glamour she represents", according to her look book. Well, done girl! It's about time!

Good news for Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan's leggings line has actually been doing pretty well! Finally though good news for our Lindsay, she is planning to expand the 6126 line to include ready-to-wear. The line is to launch with 280 pieces this fall. The collection will be available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Rod Herman. The price range will be around $60-$100. After the whole Ungaro fiasco I am intrigued to see what this is going to look like.
Are you going to buy it?

Zuhair Murad
Born and bred in Beirut, Lebanon, Zuhair Murad is quickly becoming an obsession. Zuhair broke onto the fashion scene when he decided to take the risk and show his collection at Paris Haute Couture week in 2001. The gamble paid off, as the collection was really well received by the press and customers alike.
He has collaborated with Mango to launch "Mango by Zuhair Murad" and his ready-to-wear line and couture collection can be found in select boutiques worldwide. He has a unique way of blending his eastern influence and making it high fashion. His reputation is now the "rocketing star designer". Above are a few designs from his 2010 couture spring collection.
