Song of my day
This song has been in my head for seriously 3 days straight! It instantly makes you wanna dance! Hope it brightens your day! :)
Meagan Fox: I love me

A pretty racy risque spread in this issue of Interview magazine. Megan goes high glam in this shot as she plays with an undressed mannequin that looks... EXACTLY like her! Photographed by Craig McDean. Megan dons pieces by Lanvin, and Nina Ricci to name a few.
She looks like a model for sure in this spread! Lovin' the new do bb! But I am not really a fan of the shoot not really show casing the clothes..

Kim Kardashian
Kim? Why kim why? This woman to me is a goddess in every meaning, I think she absolutely gorgeous. BUT I was just left speechless when I saw this look. We all make mistakes I guess but I really do not like this look at all!The look was on the red carpet of the FiFi awards. The dress is made by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. The dress to me does not flatter her in anyway, the color is too dark and drab, and the hair style. This is a miss for me!

Central Saint Martins show 2010

The Central Saint Martins show happened last week, a show that can make or break a designer! The show that put Alexander McQueen on the map, who is to follow in his footsteps in 2010?
Judged by Marios Schwab, Kathryn Ferguson a fashion film maker and from the Telegraph, Hilary Alexander. The show isn't just a great opportunity for he winner but 40 students get to showcase their work to buyers and prospective clients. Nonetheless, the winer this year was Yi Fang Wan, whose collection was linen heavy, clean looks with many open backs.

Stella Stella Stella!

Stella's resort creations are absolutely spot on for Resort. Her collection was refreshing, original, gorgeous, exactly what a collection should be! I am absolutely crazy about this collection, I would wear every single ensemble. The collection included many shift dress so you got to make sure those legs are toned for the summer! Stella went into origami this season, using Lanvin-esque style foldings on some of the one shoulder dresses and on the back of the shift dresses. Prints were inspired by botanical flowers, done on shit dresses in white and a beautiful sky blue. Stella also explored this great cut-out technique that translated into a great delicate outfit.
Stella's use of coloring, prints, and cutout techniques was absolutely ravishing, the collection was as fabulous as the celebrities in the audience!
I simply have two little words to say about this collection: Absolute PERFECTION!

CFDA's Best dressed
Oscar De La Renta

The man has seriously NOT lost his touch one bit! This is by far my favorite resort collection till now! Oscar De La Renta hit this one outta the park! Oscar completely disregarded this season's fixation with minimalism and went with some pretty interesting colors and embellishments. There was the added youth element which came alive in the accessories such as great leather belts and his use of blazer certainly made a huge difference. He certainly did leave his clients with many choices, with different silhouettes, a great short, tight gowns and full blown ball gowns
Not was the fashion insane, Oscar really did embrace the 21st century! Some of the models were clutching iPads as they walked the runway and the show was also streamed live on facebook! Oscar proved that he is anything but an old timer!

DvF Resort

Diane Von Furstenberg flipped a 180 on her resort show, this show was ultra-femine in cotrast to her menswear inspired fall show. The line was inspired by a 1983 photograph of the designer sitting on a stool with a pink teddy in front of a wall of mirrors. This sexy image was transformed into the runway layout, the models walked out checked themselves out in the mirror then stepped though the key-hole onto the runway. A very play-ful fun way to portray a collection.
The clothes were fabulous for a resort collection, Furstenberg played with prints on very short dresses, high-waisted shorts, and many swimsuits. The color scheme of holiday colors was the cherry on top of the resort pie. Everything about this collection from the way it was presented to the clothes to the accessories all transmitted one message; DVF's tribute to everything feminine!
