Oscar De La Renta

The man has seriously NOT lost his touch one bit! This is by far my favorite resort collection till now! Oscar De La Renta hit this one outta the park! Oscar completely disregarded this season's fixation with minimalism and went with some pretty interesting colors and embellishments. There was the added youth element which came alive in the accessories such as great leather belts and his use of blazer certainly made a huge difference. He certainly did leave his clients with many choices, with different silhouettes, a great short, tight gowns and full blown ball gowns

Not was the fashion insane, Oscar really did embrace the 21st century! Some of the models were clutching iPads as they walked the runway and the show was also streamed live on facebook! Oscar proved that he is anything but an old timer!

Cameron sparkles

She not nominated for anything this year but gosh does she look fabulous! The star glitters and sparkles in this Oscar De La Renta gown. She opted to pair it with red poppin' lipstick and wavy free flowing do.

Sparkle and dazzle. Femininity was ever present, his collections are always a celebration of women. Colors were luscious, emerald greens, gold, jade, ruby reds and rich yellow. All the clothes seemed to emulate royalty and power with soft accents. The garments almost looked like single gems sparkling down the runway. Pencil skirts with belted jackets, fine tailored coats, mink trims.

There was also an art deco inspiration for a few garments, as in the top dress. The evening gowns were champagne with golden details fit for the royal family.

I love this collection! Every piece feels rich, womanly and priceless.
