Zara May lookbook

Another month, another Zara look book. The brand is steering towards the clean, crisp, fresh trend that was present in the SS fashion week shows of Celine, Chloe, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan to name a few. The brand has done wisely to follow the lead of these designers, as this trend seems to be catching on quick. I love the fact that Zara is playing with neutral tones this spring, in contrast to their heavily floral themed collection last spring.

The looks all seem effortless and chic, I especially love the cute romper!

Donna Karen spring ad campaign modeled by Polish model Anna Jagodzinska. The elegant soft look of the model compliments the femininity of Donna's S/S '10 aesthetic beautifully. Prim, proper but edgy and flowing.

Zara lookbook

Zara's lookbook for March is looking really young and fresh. The styling of the models is natural and fresh. They stayed away from prints this time around, opting for a more neutral basics look. I am loving the all white ensemble and the return of the jumpsuit.

Afghan- British designer based in London is a rising star in fashion circles. His clothes are extremely wearable and easy on the eye. He incorporates his culture by adding the drapery elements and a soft, elegant aesthetic.

He is set to collaborate with Mango to create a capsule collection of little black dresses set to hit stores in March. Keep your eye on him! He is very close to becoming a house hold name.

Love is in the air for Rachel Roy this spring! The collection is filled with cute, fun, loving T-shirts, jackets and accessories. For the love inspired line Rachel Roy uses models, Julia Flakes, Ashley Bowman, Brandee Brown, and Nina Sky.

Barney's spring catalogue

Here are some pics from the Barney's 2010 spring catalogue. There is a great play on the humor and quirkiness of the background in conjunction with the seriousness of the models, not to mention the clothes look great. Stylized beautifully, including pieces from Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Rag and Bone and much more.

Global Warming fashion in Bazaar

Model Eniko Mihalik was photographed by Peter Lindbergh in this months Harper's Bazaar. The theme behind this shoot was global warming and how the message can be portrayed through fashion. I love this shoot and have become obsessed with Peter Lindbergh's work! Model Eniko looks great, the clothes look amazing and they do good in representing this season's military trend.
