Givenchy Couture shows cancelled!

WWD is reporting that Givenchy is no longer going to be doing couture shows! Instead, the designer Riccardo Tisci will be showing his couture creations in private appointments which are said to be costing 35% more than a show. So, it's clearly not a money issue!

Tisci wants to make sure that " People can really experience the couture moment:see it, touch it." The clients that usually purchase Givenchy's couture pieces are never present at the runway shows due to security reasons so this will be a great way to get around that. I just hope we still see pictures!

Another challenge that Tisci is to be taking is that he will not be using any black in his next show. Good luck to Tisci as we all know is very fond of black! I am excited to see what he will come up with!
