I absolutely love YSL's resort collection! Looks like Stefano Pilati is finally lightening up, a drastic change from his fall show in February. Pilati paid tribute to the seventies using trends such as high waisted shorts throughout the collection. The amazing this about this collection is that is really felt like a YSL collection as apposed to the last ready to wear endeavor. The shapes Pilati uses are new and innovative.DOnt even get me started on his fantastic use of colors! Pilati paid tribute here to the classic YSL colors, fuchsia, coral, lilac. A great combination is the mix of both fuchsia and mustard color.
The silhouettes, the bandeaus, the coloring, everything from head to toe, I just love it! A smash hit for the brand and for Pilati.
