This collection comes on the year that Donna Karan is celebrating her 25th anniversary. Her signature of designing for the modern strong career woman has not changed. BLACK is the word that describes this collection, it stayed loyal to the theme which was "Forever Black".The garments had a soft, romantic feel. It was a coat heavy collection but shapes were sculptural and had rounded edges, to portray this delicate femininity. The collection was a sort of celebration of Ms.Karan's 25 years in the designing world, it portrayed how she has evolved and matured over the years.
Demi Moore, Brooke Shields and Susan Sarandon were among the front row audience, and this collection stayed loyal to their aesthetic. Donna Karan's clothes have always and will always define what it means to be a strong woman in today's modern world.
