Fashion world mourns

In the show put on by British supermodel Naomi Campbell for the Haiti relief fund there was a strong tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen.

Many famous models graced the runway in pieces donated by designers such as; Gucci, Christian Dior, Armani, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and many more. However, the main focus of the show were the seven gorgeous McQueen pieces.

His muse Daphne Guinness, the heiress, joined the models on the runway. She was dressed in a silver catsuit specially designed for her by McQueen just two weeks prior. It is said that is was a very emotional event. The Telegraph reported that the Duchess of York, who opened the show told the audience that; "This is for him tonight. I know Naomi is very grateful you are all here. All I can say is- to Alexander McQueen, thank you, thank you."
