Elie Tahari

This was Mr. Tahari's first runway debut at Bryant Park Fashion week. The designer usually shows his collections in an intimate setting usually at his show room. The move to the mainstream fashion tent made sense as Tahari has been trying to grow the company and break into the international arena.

The collection was said to pay homage to "the great women of the 20th century who traveled the globe in style." Fur was ever present on his runway, with the knee-length fox vest which was a great moment on the runway. The pant suit was a major staple in this collection, dresses were cut close to the body showing off the feminine figure.

This collection was chic and definitely captured the essence of a feminine, stylish globe trotter.
