Proenza Schouler

Graphic prints, school-girl look, fur, and COLOR are the words to describe this collection! Proenza Schouler brings fashion week to a close and certainly closed it with a bang. The designer duo behind the label did not buy into the dark and serious tone set by other designers this week. They went against the black motif and opted for more color and pattern.

They showed a few items with the same components but layered in different ways. At one point they had the same dress silhouette portrayed in different prints. Overall they used the style of mis-matching patterns on their garments, a trend which has dominated the runways for the past 4 seasons.
They did however incorporate many of the elements found on most of the runways this week; the fur, the school girl inspiration, and the strong statement coats. They certainly proved why they have become the favorite of fashionistas all over hollywood.
