Marc By Marc Jacobs

There were 3 distinct sections in this show. First down the runway was the khaki, military look. With this look came a neutral color palette accompanied by many coats and jackets. One look that was incorporated in this section was a shorts jumpsuit, which had exited the fashion scene two seasons ago so it was nice to see that reappear.

Next was the striped down plaid "girlie" section. This was dress heavy with a lot of strips and plaid in a red and gray color palette. Then it was onto the black. Still incorporating the military edgy vibe in the zipper front black dress.

Even though Marc explored military which is usually hard and edgy he was able to bring a sort of soft femininity to it. Although the collection can be split into three sections it was still a very cohesive line with each section borrowing moments and components from the other.
